Moomin troll crochet pattern

Lately I was wondering why I don’t have any Moomin figure in my amigurumi collection (I am a huuuge Moomin fan) and thought that it’s a high time to make one. But… I couldn’t find any right pattern I’d be satisfied with. So grab my hook, and start creating this little guy. I must admit that’s my first “such big” pattern and I hope everything will be clear enough to follow it.

 

Head:
ch 5
Row 1: 2sc in 2nd ch from a hook, 2sc in next 2 sts, 4sc in last st, work 2sc in next 3 sts on the other side, sl st (16)

Tail:
Make a 10 cm long braid, tie a knot, leave 1 cm of yarn, cut the rest off.

Sew all parts together and embroider sleepy eyes.
