Maya the Bee amigurumi pattern

Yup. The pun intended. But seriously… How can you just not sing when crocheting such a lovely creature? I think it’s impossible! So, who’s singing (crocheting) with me?

Supplies:
– DK weight yarn
– 3mm crochet hook
– embroidery needle
– embroidery thread
– scissors
– yarn needle
– stuffing

Abbreviations:
sc – single crochet
sl st – slip stitch
mc – magic circle/ring
inc – increase (single crochet increase = two stitches in one stitch)
dec – invisible decrease (single crochet decrease = two stitches together)

Fasten off

Assembly:
1. Sew antennae on. Approximately one row before first black stripe, make 7 sts space between them.
2. Sew wings on. Place them behind the antennae and first black stripe.
3. Embroider eyes (place them about 4 sts below the antennae and 2 rows before first black stripe).
4. Sew cheeks on (place them 6 sts below the antennae).
5. Embroider smile.
